Circle of Confusion

The remnants of a lecture on The Circle of Confusion, the point where parts of an image look out of focus. It is the explanation of how depth-of-field works. No, this was not “on the test”. ;-)

Day 67: Walking down Delmar today, I saw they were putting in a new sidewalk with built in quotes. I’ve always loved the phrase “C’est la vie”. It’s French and loosely translates to “such is life”. Every time I go to Delmar I find something else interesting.
